Hi everyone! I want some advices about how ninjatrader would perform powered with a td ameritrade account? The purpose is to use ninjatrader with td ameritrade, to trade future contracts and i'm wondering if the connection between the two is stable enough in a scalping way, like opening and closing positions with 10 second duration.
Connect to your account and trade in financial markets directly from your browser I've been using TOS for sometime but wanted to look at volume at the bid/ask so I'm trying Ninjatrader.I have TOS tick charts at 133 ticks with Better Volume and they seem to work well but volume is pretty consistent. When I load the same 133 tick chart in Ninjatrader it's not even close. To get close I have to use a 40 tick chart and the volume bars are comparable but Ninjatrader has some TOS is a very good choice for overall trading (as mentioned above). I like TOS's charts a lot - I can scan through a lot of symbols very quickly just using my down arrow key.
